People ask me ALL the time – “Am I getting a good deal?” Well, today I’m sharing my master Grocery Price List so you can find out for yourself!!
Just because you are shopping at a discount grocery store, or an item is listed as being on sale, it doesn’t mean you are really getting the best deal. My grocery price list has what you should expect to pay for over 100 everyday grocery items.
Note- Prices may vary from one location to another and change frequently. These prices have been collected from stores in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia in 2018.

I have tracked prices for years and these are my “do not go over” prices. These are not stock up, or sale prices….just the regular everyday prices you should expect to pay for these items. If your store consistently has items for higher, it might be time to switch stores!
Where do I shop?
Currently I do almost all my shopping at Aldi. Before we had an Aldi, I bought most of my meat at Martins. I shop the sales at Food Lion and sometimes Kroger, and then use Wal-Mart for anything I can’t get at other stores. I also do a monthly Costco run and use this list to be sure I’m not overpaying.
What Brands do I shop?
Whatever is cheapest! Sometimes it is the store or generic brand, and sometimes it is the name brand.
